On the contrary, it’s giving you, the client, control over your time with me. If you having a socially demanding job, the salon is a quiet getaway, you’re introverted, or you just straight up want to play some Switch or read during your appointment, it’s all up to you. Your comfort level. ... OF COURSE I’m so happy to talk with you and I don’t think of myself as a small talker. I usually try to have genuine conversations behind the chair. This is for any current or future clients out there. I see you! You don’t go to the salon because it’s intimidating, you hate the social pressure that comes along with it, you’re totally happy in silence or just listening to music, and there’s not really a place for you. I want to change that. We did our best to get it out and I’m in love with the results The final result still had some pink but it looks pretty cute, honestly ... Oh hai. In solidarity with my clients, I am yet again growin out the roots until I announce a reopen date. Just wanted to show you the fade process from @pulpriothair semi-permanent colors. Here I am at 10 week fade out! Cycle through the photos to see the process. A few things:... I washed my hair once a week in cold water and no heat styling for the first month. I used *only* @alkalibeauty haircare. Extend Shampoo and conditioner is their color safe line and it is amaaaazing. I definitely noticed my color lasting longer so that is HUGE for me. After five weeks I stopped caring about cold water and turned up the heat and went to shampooing twice a week, every couple weeks I used Triple X which was a nice refreshing deep clean for my scalp. I noticed a big change in both my scalp health and hair health by using @alkalibeauty haircare and I am so impressed. Here is a real time example of how @pulpriothair semis fade ON TONE. Which means they become lighter versions of themselves instead of shifting to a different tone. *When it doesn’t fade on tone is if there was a preexisting color underneath. Case in point is the green from my previous color is starting to poke through near the root in the back because I scrub with shampoo a little more at the root and my previous color was green from Halloween. This is why *sometimes* we can pre-tone your vivids with a Demi-permanent color to add longevity to the fade. This hair is a flurry I have been thinking a lot about all of the healthcare and frontline workers during this dangerous time and wishing them strength as the first roll out of the vaccine comes in. We all rely on each other so much as we’ve learned the hard way this year. Thank you to all our healthcare workers, farmers, food distributors and pickers, delivery people, and to everyone on the frontlines distributing aid that chose to take care of people, even when they could barely keep it together. When there is a time to pay it forward, I hope I step to the plate.

WinterBlues Two bleaches and tons of patience later, we got blue on level 9 without a pre-tone by using @pulpriothair Interstellar in 12-1. I’m pretty stoked. I used 12-01 for the silver but it wasn’t quite covering those transitional areas as well so we used the Silver Rapid toner all over and landed in this delightfully frosty blue. All of that boils down to...no direct dye! The future is now! ... Big thanks to my sister @zenjosey for not only letting me use her head but being relentlessly supportive of my creative efforts and for having complete trust in the outcome. A few friends wanted to see what the teasy blonding looked like and here it is! This is after toning with @pulpriothair silver toner which did a pretty epic job in my opinion. I’m waiting to post final pics because we did have to bleach a second time for the desired results. It’s coming soon! I gotta space out my posts!!
