This post is for the potters out there and those wanting to learn more about pottery. I want to host regular online meets or workshops to share what I have learned about pottery with others. Just as a once every two weeks thing, maybe an hour long to share what we are working on, get glazing advice, share our discoveries. Is there a video chat platform that works best for something like this? I know with Zoom you have to have a subscription for, and if I went that route I'd request a few dollars or encourage tips to cover that cost. I'd like it to be free to folks though, and go tips only for people who wanted to tip. Patreon might be a choice for me in the future.

Hello folks! This year I plan on purchasing my very own wheel for throwing pottery. I've been lucky so far to have the use of wheels, but now I need to buy one that is mine and mine alone. With that said, I am going to be raising money to buy a wheel! Sometime after Christmas I will begin taking commissions, selling artwork, and getting back into modeling to raise enough money for a Shimpo VL Lite Pottery Wheel. $719 on the Big Ceramic Store or to buy any kind of used potte...r's wheel for less. I've gotten back into mug making for the fall season. The first two pictures are of the same mug. The last two images are taken with indoor lighting.

Things I have planned for the Fall: -More ceramic pumpkins -Jewelry/keepsake boxes -Mugs with crazy colorful glaze patterns -Brush rests, ink jars, and artist palettes (These are currently in research and development)... -Goblets -Shot glasses I am planning on selling my work late in October as well as for the Clay and Glass Association fall sale. The teapot saga #2. Coronado white clay ^10, fired ^6, with a studio glaze called eggshell on the inside, and saturation metallic X2 and textured turquoise X2 in alternating layers, heavier on top.

Summer is busy for me, but at least I've been able to make some pretty pieces.
