Once per month when we can afford it, we have a lunch party for all students and staff at Champey Academy. The food, usually a curry dish, is prepared by our very talented female dance teacher, Ms. Kanika and some of her older students. This year we were very grateful to have the support of the Elementary School students from the American School in Tokyo as well as one friend in New York who generously donated funds to sponsor some of these monthly lunches.

Champey students and staff welcomed in 2019 with a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony followed by games and lunch.

Included below are a few recent photos of students participating in their dance, art, and music classes at the Champey Academy of Arts. Currently around 60 students attend the Academy daily, but we expect that number to increase to approximately 90 during August and September, the public school annual holiday period.
