Last Saturday Campbell Celebrate was able to happen , virtually. Congratulations to all the awardees. The gala kicked off with a message from Evan Low, former Mayor of Campbell and current CA Assemblyman. One of the first awardees was Ana Spear 2019 Citizen of the Year. Attendees were treated to music by Lavender Fields, during the course of the evening. Dave Cortese Santa Clara County School Board arrived to hand out the award for Business of the Year, Mathnasium. Sports B...asement and The Pruneyard were finalists for the award. Other notable honorees were Randy Ross, Ambassador of the Year, Vance Kotake, Volunteer of the Year. Other honorees included, Jim Free, Officer Nijab Magee (with Lucas, Campbells K-9 a new member to Campbell police, Michael Sanders/Mark Thortin, Mary Wirth, Carl and Susan Orthlieb, Nancy Whitney, Dr. Art Liw, Steve Salmon and Carol Whelan. The Chamber also announce new scholarship opportunities in the names of Betty Deal, Sally Howe and Mike Kotowski, all instrumental to the City of Campbell.
