If you don’t know this already, glass can cut you. The screen on your iPhone is glass. If you have a cracked screen, there are tiny pieces of glass sticking out.... When you put your hand, ear, or face on it, there is a possibility that the glass could embed into your skin or cut you. May not sound like a big deal now, but just think about how much it would hurt if you had tiny glass particles in your skin. CRACKED SCREEN?. A cracked phone screen is a broken phone screen and it's not going to get any better over time. In the worst-case scenario, a cracked or shattered touch screen will be so damaged that the capacitive touch functionality will no longer respond to finger gestures. Cracks indicate that the screen is no longer structurally sound; a phone with a cracked screen is more likely to shatter when dropped than a phone without a cracked screen. After the screen shatters you won't be able to see what's on the screen, making the device fairly useless. Additionally, finger oils and debris will work their way into the cracks and can further damage the screen over time.

Dropped the Galaxy III and broke the screen. Stopped here and the guy said he could fix it in about 20 minutes if I had time to wait. I was expecting to have to... leave it and pick up another day. I said sure and it actually took only about 10 minutes!! Very courteous and professional, told me exactly what he would have to do for the repair. Five stars because I can't give 6! See more
