This is tragic. The monarch population is down to UNDER 1%! You can help by planting milkweed species in your garden so the monarchs have the ONE plant, Milkweed, that they need to reproduce. Mexican Flame Vine is great to plant as an annual to feed monarchs, they love it! Also planting lantana for feeding is another wonderful plant that helps feed butterfly species in general.
