Okay, this time I used the panorama setting in my phone's camera and it was a little less hazy this time. I think it's a better shot of the view this house has. It's pretty spectacular.

These photos are of some of the lights that I had to remove and replace with fixtures that the Art Director wants to make the house look period correct. Oh, by the way, this Chatsworth home is the house that Frank Sinatra lived in for 10 years and Marilyn Monroe lived in the guest house. Supposedly JFK would visit Marilyn and have an affair in the guest house. The property is 14 acres and has parking for 200 cars for when Frank and the Rat Pack would throw parties.

Here are pictures of the first floor of Greystone Mansion, as well as the entry level. I installed all the wall sconce lights in all the rooms shown. You should look at the pics full size to get the detail of the wood carvings on the bannisters and balcony railings. I was told by one of the Rangers that the marble used for the steps, not the black and white but the dark green, is the most expensive and rare marble on earth and only this house and Hearst Castle have that marble installed as flooring. To get an idea of scale, the picture where you see an orange ladder, that is a six foot ladder and the room with the painting above the fireplace, that painting is about ten feet tall.

Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, I have been working there changing out 15 original wall sconce light fixtures with rentals for the TNT mini series called One Day She'll Darken. Of course after the shoot I go back and remove the rentals and install the originals. 15 fixtures being removed, 15 being installed then, 15 being removed and 15 being installed. Crazy. They are very similar also. I would have left the originals and saved all the money they are paying me. LOL but I'm glad they do this kinda stuff. It puts money in my pocket. Hopefully I can figure out how to rotate these pics.

This kitchen is someone's home used for a Disney kids show. I installed the hanging lights. The round fixture is a hand soldered stained glass flower petals and about 24 inches across with more than 100 petals, super fragile.

Well, this week was the end of shooting for season 2 of HBO's Insecure series. It was cool to work on that show for the most part. Next week is the season premier of the show I worked on last fall for FX channel called Snowfall. I highly recommend watching this series. Great story, great actors. John Singleton (Striaght Outta Compton, Boys in da Hood ) created, directed Rumor has it that I'll be working on The Last Man on Earth starting in a couple weeks for 18 episodes.
