KAI Media Inc. 2020 Review (Part 4/6) In October, hello82 became an official K-pop partner of Twitch, and made it to the Twitch Front Page after launching our very own channel on the platform! hello82 kicked off the launch of the channel with a giveaway event, and had watch party sessions of all our best content twice a day. hello82 fans watched and chatted live using Twitch’s new K-pop themed emoticons that they earned via subscriptions to K-pop channels. ... To celebrate Twitch’s K-pop day in October, the hello82 channel was featured on the Front Page of Twitch! We had a hello82 x ATEEX Watch Party MARATHON with all of our hello82 x ATEEZ content, including 82Challenge, Try-lingual Live, UNCUT performances, and Touché! 25,000 Twitch viewers came together for the marathon, all celebrating K-pop on the Front Page. KAI Media and hello82 look forward to seeing how K-pop content performs on platforms like Twitch, and exploring the space that connects K-pop, e-sports, gaming, and all things K-pop[culture].

KAI Media Inc. 2020 Review (Part 3/6) In 2020, KAI Media officially launched its fifth language channel, halo82, targeting Indonesian K-pop fans! This channel now features top K-pop acts such as WayV, ITZY, VICTON, SUPER JUNIOR, and more, speaking bahasa Indonesia in order to cater directly to their fans in Indonesia and around the world! Prior to the launch of halo82, hello82 worked with Tokopedia on a piece of original K-pop content: Try-Lingual Live with SUPER JUNIOR. T...his video gained over 6M views across the hello82 and Tokopedia YouTube channels and was covered by CNN and other Indonesian news outlets. The videos also saw impressive engagement, showing a promising appetite for K-pop content in Indonesian. Now, halo82 has grown to be a full-fledged brand that can be found across YouTube and all social media platforms! We look forward to serving Indonesian fans with more K-pop content in 2021. KAI Media Inc. 2020 Review (Part 2/6) In March of 2020, hello82 became the first US-based K-pop brand to present two original Facebook Watch series, 82Challenge and 82minutes! 82Challenge is an eight-episode series that features ATEEZ, an eight-member K-pop boy group that claimed numerous awards last year, including Worldwide Fans’ Choice at the MAMAs and Global Hottest Artist at The Fact Music Awards. For the series, they flew to LA (pre-pandemic) to take on unique 82-t...hemed challenges alongside their fans. 82minutes is also an eight-episode series that featured top names in K-pop: CHUNG HA, NCT 127, SF9, Super Junior, Amber, (G)I-DLE, and Red Velvet. In this series, lucky fans around the world were chosen to get surprised by their favorite K-pop idols. In each episode, a fan gets to spend a magical 82 minutes together with their bias. Together, the shows garnered over 14M views on hello82’s Facebook Watch. Both series utilized fan interaction in a way that brought international K-pop fans closer to their favorite artists, a concept that KAI Media is excited to expand on in 2021.
