Completely and utterly effortless. You don't have to TRY to float. You just do. We load the float solution with enough pharmaceutical-grade Epsom salt that it becomes so dense, your body is fully supported and perfectly weightless. Some say it's like floating on a cloud. Some say it's like floating in outer space. Some even say they feel more comfortable than in their beds at home.

"It's about making a blank canvas in your mind so you can then picture something completely original. It's a little like the stage just before falling asleep, where you have a really vivid imagination and things just appear in your head." We couldn't agree more.

"Studies have shown that both blood pressure and pulse are lowered through a flotation treatment, resulting in greater circulatory efficiency. Since both heart rate and blood pressure tend to be higher in the presence of pain, flotation therapy counteracts the pain response by decreasing both of their levels." We're here for you when you're ready to let go of some of that pain!

While our float cabins do have LED lights inside, we encourage you to try floating in the dark. That's where the REAL magic starts to happen. Think about it this way - every SECOND, your brain processes 400 BILLION bits of information. The five senses make up a large part of that. In fact, here's the breakdown: taste - 1,000 bits per second smell - 100,000 bits per second... sound - 100,000 bits per second touch - 1 million bits per second sight - 10 million bits per second If we start to reduce the stimuli (i.e. odors, noises and sounds, things to touch, things to see), the brain begins to relax. Look at that total again for the eyes - 10 MILLION bits per second. When the lights are on, your brain is still hard at work. If, even for only a few minutes, you turn off the lights, you'll likely experience a profound difference in the way you feel after a float. Lights and music will likely make you feel super relaxed. But dark and quiet could just be the trick to shifting out of that constant state of exhaustion, overwhelm, and pain. That *might* just be the place where you begin to heal at a deeper level.
