Parents of Julian Elementary and Julian Junior High students, please take a moment to complete a short survey by April 9th. Your input is very important! Below is a message from Mr. Duffy: Dear Parents: We know it has been a rough year, but things are moving in the right direction now. Most of the guidelines we are required to follow are still in place (distancing, quarantines, masks, cohort groups, health screenings, etc.), but we hope to expand our on campus services and w...elcome more or maybe even all students back to campus. The hybrid program we are currently using cannot be expanded to full day, 5 days a week. We are hoping to extend the school day in May and offer a different independent program for students who still wish to be on distance learning. We need your input. We are also planning to offer a summer school program to all our students this summer as well. This will help get students caught up and ready for next school year. It is very important that we hear from all our families. Through an online assessment, see how well your organization currently supports physical activity, healthy eating, and other wellness efforts. Based on the results, your organization receives a customized Healthy Workplace action plan, utilizing free or low-cost resources that support a culture of health for all employees whether they are on-site or teleworking. It is with great sadness that we announce the resignation of Carmen Longoria from her position of Resource Coordinator/Bilingual Liaison with Julian Pathways, Inc. The entire Pathways staff would like to thank Carmen for her many years of service. Her dedication to Julian families and the Julian Union School District is greatly appreciated. Carmen worked tirelessly with various organizations such as Toys for Tots, the American Legion and CALFire to benefit the multiple programs that Pathways offers.
