I'm getting questions about San Diego's real estate market during this pandemic and before and after the election...In a nutshell, there is Low inventory and historically low interest rates that are driving San Diego and California's (overall) red-hot real estate market. According to the California Association of Realtors, home sales climbed to their highest level in more than a decade. It's making it harder for buyers to buy low but easier for sellers looking to sell high. We are getting multiple offers on homes that are for sale. Sellers are getting multiple offers and with that Most sellers expect buyers to have a pre-approval letter and will be more willing to negotiate with those who prove that they can obtain financing.
