Renderings vs Reality. We often use high quality renderings in our design presentations to help convey the overall design concepts. Sometimes we get it spot on - swipe right to see the rendering which is so good - but other times situations change and we have to adapt (see the last two images). Truthfully, I’m starting to move away from these because clients become so dependent on them that they can’t use their imaginations and trust us to make the space look beautiful. We w...ant to provide aids when our suggestions are hard to envision but not a line-by-line comparison. Also, while renderings can be good, they are also flat and sometimes don’t convey everything. What do you think? Are the renderings TOO helpful?
