Joy's Little Free Library

BIG NEWS! Our Little Free Library is here and ready to be painted. I’m super excited because it has 2 shelves which will be so nice to separate adult books from kids books. I’m looking for ideas for a theme or color palette for it. Let me know what you would like to see. I have a $10 Starbucks card to the person who posts the winning suggestion. We got the library fitted with a temporary raincoat and the books stayed dry. Lots of books ready for you all. Come by, stock up, more rain is coming this week.

Our lil free library is back in business- some wonderful people came and filled it up! Some great books are in there now! Come check it out!

UPDATE: Good news, a lil free library steward came by and left some books and a reading buddy. Our little free library was the victim of Christmas mischief. I had just received a donation of children’s books and filled it up Christmas morning. I just hope that someone who loves books gets them and not a trash can.

The lil library had an interesting book donation. We have pulled that one and will donate it to the public library since young kids use lil free library regularly. It has hastened our decision to upgrade the lil library to have a two-level housing so that books for kids are separated from more adult selections. Thanks! Joy
