Needless to say, COVID has taken its toll on the market. How does Costal SD March 2020 stack up to March 2019? Check it out:
Nothing comes easy #75HARD The program might look simple. It is. But don't confuse simple & easy. This is not a physical challenge. It is a mental challenge. Every single thing you do is built on your discipline and ability to keep your own promises to yourself.... EVERYTHING. Simple tasks for the next 75 days: Follow a diet. This can be the diet of your choice, but it must be a structured plan designed with a physical improvement in mind. You must complete two 45-minute workouts. One of those workouts MUST be outdoors. Absolutely NO alcohol or cheat meals. Take a progress picture every day. Drink 1 gallon of water. Read 10 pages of a book. **Audiobooks DO NOT COUNT. ZERO COMPROMISE ZERO SUBSTITUTION You have until you go to sleep to complete the day. If you fail, you MUST start over on Day 1. Who else is in? See more
Amidst all the panic & fear of the unknown out there I’m just trying to control the controllables over here. I read a great post from a colleague today and felt the need to spread the message! TOP 10 ANXIETY FIGHTERS... 1. Your entire body fuels your mindset. Eat well. Get sufficient sleep. Exercise. 2. Identify your triggers. Know what fuels your anxiety. 3. Develop a routine. Routines can be calming. 4. Avoid or cut back alcohol, caffeine, and coffee intake. All fuel anxiety. 5. Meditation, yoga and controlled focused deep breathing breaks have helped many. 6. Go for a 15-minute walk. Look at nature. 7. Focus on your thought patterns: those negative voices in your head fuel anxiety. Fight them. Rationalize them. 8. Seek out facts. Anxiety is often caused by anticipation and speculation. Reality and data often contradict these thoughts. 9. You may need professional help or medication. There is zero shame in this. Get help. Don't delay. 10. Call a friend or relative. Talking through things can be very helpful. **This in no way replaces or minimizes the advice and counsel of a medical professional and I encourage you to seek help if you are unable to manage your anxiety on your own.** (credit @theleonardsteinbergteam ) See more
