PICTURE THIS . You’re finally starting to dig yourself out of the 5-figure debt trap that your failed company has gotten you into.... and you lose your only income stream . I love my job and I’m committed to being the best were my words back then... . And now, here I am. But WHAT CHANGED? The reality is simple, I CHANGED. My think changed, my goals changed, the way I treat money changed, the way I look at relationships changed, the way I carry myself changed, the way I refine my strengths changed . And the best part is: I’m just getting started... I learned to invest in MYSELF. To my skill sets, to my knowledge, to my network, shit... to my MENTORS. My entire brain literally reorganized itself once I unlearned all the BS that we were taught growing up. My 3 Pillars To Staying Motivated . #1 Writing Your Goals Down . Most people have goals, but very few actually write them down and manifest them multiple times per day. It helps me to write them down anytime that I’m not feeling motivated or at peak production. They keep me focused on why I am doing what I am doing and where I’m going!... . #2 Personal Congruence . Up until last year I always thought that once I became rich and successful that I’d be a completely different person. I had almost segmented my life and thought that once I achieved the things I wanted, that I would be an alter ego of my current self. In reality though, it’s becoming this person 24/7 that has pushed my growth in the last six months. Being this same driven, passionate person at all times of the day in turn builds my confidence and keeps my spirits high. . #3 Finding A "Motivation" Social Circle . I have been so blessed in my life to always have a good amount of people who believe in me and want to see me succeed and I couldn’t be more grateful. The one thing I noticed though is that often times when you’re looking to talk to these people about what you're working on, since they might not be in the same headspace as you, that your motivations fall of deaf ears. What I mean here is that only recently have I found a group of people who are aligned with EXACTLY what I am doing (building businesses) 24/7. We talk every single day and when I start to let off the gas pedal they push me back on track because they’re in the trenches too. THIS is how you need to structure your motivation circle.
