I remember this day like it was yesterday. I wanted to spend my birthday with you Dad. I’m so happy for all the great memories I have with you. These last few years you would call me randomly and tell me about your torta restaurant you were going to open. I knew your health wouldn’t allow that to happen but I would just go along with you because your face would lite up with excitement. I’m happy that I was able to tell you that you were going to be a grandpa again (and thi...s time to my son) and you looked and Krystal with the biggest smile. You were already very weak and would mostly sleep but at that moment you raised your head to look at Krystal’s stomach and got so happy. It was a while since I so you move and react like that but I know you were just as excited as I was. I always wanted to make you proud and have worked very hard to do that. I know you were very proud and that makes me smile. It’s your birthday in 15 days but this time you’ll be celebrating with my grandpa and my aunt Jenny. Make sure you tell them I love and miss them. All the kids were devastated to hear that you passed. They were happy that they were able to Skype with you one last time. You were the best grandpa to my kids and they love you so much.
