It’s like you’ve wandered through a magic door, you go from a country like town into a hidden world of flavors and charm. The reviewer who said best secret is right, but not just in Lakeside, all of the United States! I eat out almost everyday and I can tell you I’ve never been treated as family quite like this. It was a cold rainy afternoon and I was waiting for my food... outside on the patio adorned with beautiful plants. Sensing my cold, the staff brought me an off the menu soup to tryand to warm me up. I scraped that bowl clean as fast as I could, I would have eaten a gallon of it; knowing then that the food I was about to receive was being prepared by a true artist. I have worked and trained as a chef and you can’t fake deep rich flavors like thesethis is done with poise and care for the food. I came in from having inhaled the soup to exclaim it’s taste. The owner/chef will have you try your food to guarantee it is to your liking but be careful if you order to go, you will finish it there and want to more flavors. If I am ever within 50 miles of Jon Kebabs again I will make the pilgrimage to nowhere else but to Jon Kebab a true treasure in the hills.
