Today I sit at home still in my pajamas, thinking of different ways to make sure I'm able to re-open my doors after the government shutdown is lifted. They're a few other flower shops in San Diego that remain open due to a loophole in the wording. The word Agriculture. Yes I can wear a mask as well as gloves BUT, that doesn't mean... the growers and pickers are. I made a hard and conscious decision to close my doors until we know more about this dreadful disease and see if we are flattening the curve. Everyone is talking about buying gift certificates from restaurants so they can eventually re-open. Please don't forget about all your other favorite shops.
