What to avoid when pregnant Salicylic acid is ok under 2 % above that isn't recommended. It is derived from Willow bark, the same as aspirin. An over abundance of vitamin A can cause birth defects. So it is advised to avoid during pregnancy.... Baby Edwards is due January 31, 2021, and we can't wait!!!

There's a false sense of security that we only get sun damage if we're getting sunburned. The sun gives off 2 different types of UV rays, UVA(aging rays) and UVB(burning days) UVB penetrates the top of the skin, and are know to be responsible for sunburns. They however, can be blocked by the clouds on a cloudy day, or stopped by a glass window. *My personal before and after* I didn't become a skin therapist because I wanted to fix my own skin. I actually never paid much attention to my skin honestly. I had tried a few different products, but always felt they made my skin more oily, or broke me out. I had no idea what to do, so I did nothing When I first went to school and started playing with all the different products my skin went from bad to worst!
