Johnston Accountancy is hiring bookkeepers. We are looking for an individual with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Our office is a great place to learn and grow. #hiring #Bookkeeping Career-minded individual wanted for independent bookkeeping firm. We're looking for a long term employee with a solid understand of accounting principals. A Bachelors degree in Accounting is ideal. QuickBooks experience is necessary.... Day to day activities include, but are not limited to: QuickBooks, both online and desktop. We mostly use QBO. Working directly with a variety of clients. Entering transactions in QuickBooks, including categorizing items. Bank reconciliations. Financial Reports. Taxes. Payroll. We value client communication very highly at Johnston Accountancy. This is not a data entry position. You will be interacting with clients directly. Most work is done at our office in National City, however on-site work at a client's location is occasionally required. Reliable car is required. This is an excellent opportunity for the right person. We serve a wide variety of clients and tailor our service to their needs. The work is interesting, challenging and dynamic. We are looking for a full-time employee who is looking to gain real-world experience and finds success in the field to be rewarding.

I have identified a few obstacles many businesses encounter. Three main #roadblocks: 1. You are not the exception. A new business will likely not be able to pay the owner in the first year. Many businesses screw themselves by not realizing that it will take time for a new business to be self sustaining. When business owners take money out of a business too early they are only stunting the potential growth and then they blame the industry, economy, but wise realize they are re...sponsible for their #business. 2. Work half days. My dad told me, "Working for yourself is great, you can work half days and you can choose which 12 hours you work." Be ready to put in extra time, you still need to perform the service that generates income as well as admin and sales work. It can get better but you have to find a way to get it all done. 3. Skills. The most successful businesses I work with have learned a valuable lesson. They hire people who are better than them. If you are not good at #Marketing, hire Debbra Sweet, if you need a #coach hire a good coach, need sales hire a sales team. If you are not good with #accounting or #bookkeeping hire Johnston Accountancy. You build the #vision, and have the right team to develop and execute a plan. We call all #RISE above where we are. Just like a young bird, a business needs to mature with time and experience before it can #soar with the eagles.
