Today we will be starting out University Spotlight with Humboldt State University. HSU is the Northernmost California State University of the system. It is located in a town called Arcata surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and Redwood trees. HSU is well know for their "hands-on" research for the sciences! Today Wednesday, we will be starting our weekly spotlights on Universities of the state of California and also of the nation! This will be one of our ways to help you explore other Universities than those around the area; from the well known Universities to small liberal arts colleges, we got you covered with the 411!

Alright Seniors, we will be starting to post links in regards of college applications and more. As of now, we would like to give you a friendly reminder of registering for your second SAT and ACT exams if you have not taken them for the second time! Remember that most of you qualify for the fee waiver and you get two (2) so make sure to use it!

On behalf of the John C. Fremont High School College Counseling, we would like to wish our fellow Pathfinder and the other students who were in the bus accident going to Humboldt State University on Thursday to get well soon. Also, we would like to give our condolence to the families and friends of those who lost one of their loved ones in the accident.
