The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that U.S. employers added 916,000 jobs in March while January and February were revised higher by a total of 156,000. Estimates were calling for a gain of 627,000 last month. The Unemployment Rate fell to 6%, hourly earnings declined by 0.1% monthly and up 4.2% annually. The U6 number or total unemployed fell to 10.7%. The one caveat was the decline in the Labor Force Participation Rate to 61.5%. Solid news from the construction sector as it added 110,000 new workers.
