Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced that President Trump has directed him to move Tax Day to July 15.

April 15 filing deadline still stands. However, the White House is giving Americans an extra 90 days to pay their tax bills.

The IRS is expected to postpone the April 15 tax-filing deadline. However, no announcement has been made. Even if the IRS does extend the deadline, it may still be a good idea to file your taxes now.

Tax season begins for individual filers on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, when the IRS will begin accepting and processing 2019 returns.The deadline to file 2019 tax returns and pay tax owed is Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Don’t give your Social Security number or other personal information to someone who contacts you by Phone or Email. SSA never requests information that way.
