This December would have been my 26th year presenting Jodi Farrell's Music Studio's Holiday Concert but, this year, gathering for such an event is out of the question. Time for innovation! This year I have decided to present "Home For the Holidays With Jodi Farrell's Music Studio." All students wishing to participate will video a home performance and send it in to me. I will put together an online platform where we can all get together and watch each other's performances. Let your holiday spirit flow. Get decked out. Make your backdrop holiday festive. If you need help with a holiday tune, I have plenty to choose from. Don't delay! The holidays will be here before you know it!

My student, Sandy, snuck this picture of me while I was teaching her how to play harmonics on the guitar. Never dreamed I'd ever be teaching music through plexiglass while wearing a face shield!

Week 28 (7 months) Reopened my studio 3 weeks ago and it's going great! Everything is in place. There is now plenty of ventilation. Got a medical grade air purifier running, plexiglass in place and plenty of hand sanitizer and temperature taking to assure a safe environment for my returning students. Zoom lessons are still offered but, for those of you who have returned, it is so wonderful to see and hear you live and in person again!

It was only nine months ago that we got to enjoy his performance at the 2019 Holiday Concert. Shortly there after, he received the devestating news that he had brain cancer.
