Quick tip for your engagement photos: trust your photographer easier said than done!!! And I don’t take for granted how lucky I am to have couples that pick me, trust me and goooo with the flow. This week of marathon shoots has been a dream!!! From San Diego to San Francisco, every couple put their trust in me and really let their personalities shine with a little direction from me. I find so much joy in capturing your joy so thanks for trusting me to do so! Jodee is super relaxed and kind and will immediately put you at ease. My last session before the pandemic struck. I’ve seen a lot of 1 year anniversary posts this week. And I feel that hard but while we reminisce, let’s also plan for the future and talk post-vaccination plans because we are getting there y’all!!! Let’s get these two and so many other couples MARRIED!! They’ve been patient, they’ve been safe and we’re nearing the tipping point. We can safely execute events. And with every month, comes less and less risk. Toda...y marks 94 million Americans vaccinated with at least one dose. We’re averaging 2.15 million every day according to @bloomberg. That is 60 million vaccines given every month. If we stay on track, we’ll hit 198.75 million Americans by end of April!! 60% of the population vaccinated. And then we’ll hit approx. 258 doses administered by end of May or 78% of the population. These are numbers to celebrate!!!! Now I’m no scientist and admittedly this is basic math I’m doing over here, but y’all we need to start preparing for the mind shift back to normalcy. That time I rode a rollercoaster backwards. I gave y'all 2 truths and a lie yesterday, and for those that guessed this was the lie, I wanted to share proof If you swipe through to the last photo, you'll see the un-photoshopped version of one of the riders clearly thinking "what the heck is this photographer doing!?" This is the rollercoaster at the Santa Monica Pier. Jen & Jon love the pier and amusement parks so it was the perfect place to capture them in their element. ...I always love brainstorming sessions to make them sentimental to you as a couple. P.s. Can y'all believe this was way back in 2014? Had to dig through the archives for this one.

SURE. I could tell you about the risks of wedding planning during COVID. SURE. I could encourage the woe is us mentality. But I have a sneaky suspicion that you’d rather hear the facts. That you’d rather hear we are on track to hit at least, if not more than, 100 million vaccines in 100 days and the risks of hosting weddings are declining EVERY DAY. That you’d rather hear @bloomberg reported that Biden said he hopes that vaccinations are accelerated enough that by summer, th...e U.S. has a surplus. That he was quoted today saying: I hope you’re all asking me by the end of the summer that ‘you have too much vaccine left over,’ that ‘you have too much equipment left over,’ he said. That’s not my worry. I hope that becomes a problem rather than we somehow find interruptions in supply of vaccines. Keep planning your weddings in confidence with knowledge of the vaccine rollout. I’m a glass half full person that values facts. And I have a sneaky suspicion that you are too. And that you’d rather gush about your dress or sweet flower install than talk more about COVID.
