Jax is a good boy! We before me? One year ago, Jobot launched Jax 1.0. Tomorrow, Wednesday, 3/24/21, we are excited to launch Jax 2.0! We will be launching at 10:15 am. Why 10:15 am? At Jobot, we love a bit of history. Jobot first launched on 10.15.18 at 10:15 am. Keeping with tradition, 10:15 am seems like the perfect time to launch Jax 2.0. From our Founder + CEO, Heidi Golledge: Jax 1.0 Launched in early 2020. Since then, Jobot has doubled in size and 5x in revenue. Eve...n better? Jax has enabled recruiters to provide next level service to our clients and candidates, put thousands of Americans back to work and give our Jobot Family every other weekend off. Free Fridays embody our culture. Utilizing AI and experienced recruiters to provide a better life for all. Thank you to our incredible software architects who have architected a masterpiece with Jax. More importantly, we have put thousands of Americans back to work + raised hundreds of thousands for our Get a Job, Give a Job Foundation. Our first goal during the pandemic was simple - save jobs. Then, it became create jobs. We committed to helping our clients weather the storm + finding our candidates new, improved professio...nal homes. Hope we can leave the Earth better than when we arrived. This year, I put a lot of thought into what we should get the Jobot kids. Kids = ... We believe in championing education. Do you? Comment with your favorite university and/or your favorite college sports team! After much deliberation, we have decided to expand our Jobot Scholar Program. Starting today, Jobot is partnering with Gusto and Gradvisor to give everyone at Jobot access to a 529 plan for their dependent children. This will allow folks at Jobot to grow their children’s college fund straight from their paycheck. Even better? Jobot is contributing a $500 per year 529 match for each dependent child 18 or under! Example: Work at Jobot for 10 years? Get $5,000 per dependent child for their college fund. A big part of our Get a Job, Give a Foundation is to give back to education. Exciting updates:... 1. We are officially creating Jobot Family, Inc.. It will own a percentage of Jobot + hold all the employee ownership shares + cash flow/profit sharing. 2. New Year, New You: Part 1 - Making sure everyone at Jobot has great Jobot gadgets to do their job remotely from anywhere with WIFI. That includes: - Dell Laptop - Dell Dual Monitors - Custom, stand-up electric desk in the color of their choice - Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse - Plantronics headset - $1200 per year/$100 a month Jobot stipend to put towards anything you want to make remote life better - stronger WIFI, cat food, a disco ball - anything. 3. New Year, New You: Part 2 - Raising the minimum wage at Jobot for full time, permanent employees to $60,000 per year. 4.
