On 3/25/2021, the big winner was a Robot at Table 1 with 896 total points with a 768 point Full Flush with Self Pick and a 128 point Half Flush. But the highest scoring Human was Roger at Table 2 with 768 total points with this 576 point Half Flush with Self Pick and 192 point Half Flush. Also at Table 2, Nobuko won a 256 point Full Flush and Erna was blanked. And at Table 1 Amy won 704 total points with a 384 point Big Pong Pong and 128 and 192 point Half Flushes. Nancy won 384 total points with 256 and 128 point Half Flushes. Hiroshi won 320 total points with a 192 point Big Pong Pong and a 128 point Half Flush. The last hand ended in a TIE.

On 3/18/2021 play was very smooth with the Table Wind moving to West for the first time. Amy was on top again with 7296 total points with this 6144 point Thirteen Orphans and 1152 point Big Pong Pong, both on Self Pick. Also at Table 1, Hiroshi won 4800 total points with a 4096 point Beijing Garden, 384 point Pong, 3 192 point Half Flush hands and a 128 point Half Flush. The Robot won 512 total points on a 284 point Full Flush and a 128 point Half Flush, there was a TIE, and Nancy was blanked. At Table 2 Nobuko won 768 total points with a 512 point Big Pong Pong and a 256 point Full Flush. Erna won 288 total points with a 192 point Half Flush and a 96 point Pong. The Robot won a 192 point Half Flush and Roger won a 64 point Half Flush.

On 3/11/2021 the Robots finally won with a 768 point Full Flush with Self Pick Mahjong (sic wu) at Table 1. But at Table 2, Roger was on top with 704 total points with this 512 point Big Pong Pong and 192 point Half Flush with Self Pick. A Robot at Table 2 won 608 total points with 512 point Full and 96 point Half Flushes. Nobuko won 480 total points with 384 point Full and 96 point Half Flushes. And Erna won a 256 point Half Flush. Also at Table 1, Nancy had a great day with 576 total points winning 5 of the 10 hands: with a 256 point Big Pong Pong, 128 and 96 point and 64 point Half Flushes, and a 32 point Chow. Hiroshi won 320 total points with 192 and 128 point Pongs. There were 2 TIEs and Amy was blanked.

On 3/4/2021, Amy was on top winning this 6144 point Dragon Snake with Self Pick on the first hand. Also at Table 1, Hiroshi won a 512 point Ruby Hand and a 192 point Pong for 704 total points. Nancy won 608 total points with a 512 point All Terminals and a 96 point Half Flush. And John won 320 total points in 3 Half Flush hands. And Table 1 ended with a TIE when Erna joined us. At Table 2, Nobuko won 2432 total points with a 1152 point Big Pong Pong, a 1152 point Full Flush and a 128 point Pong. Roger won a 128 point Half Flush and a 96 point Pong.

On 2/25/2021, Amy won the first two hands with two amazing Special Hands, this 6144 point Beijing Garden and 1152 point All Terminals, and won a 384 point Pong, all with Self Pick, for 7680 total points. Also at Table 1, Nancy and Hiroshi tied with 384 points each, Nancy with a 288 and 96 point Half Flush and Hiroshi with a Full Flush. The Robot won a 96 point Half Flush and there was a Tie. At Table 2, Erna won 448 total points with 2 192 point and 64 point Half Flushes. Roger won 384 total points with two 192 point Half Flushes and Nobuko won 288 total points with a 192 and 96 point Half Flushes.

J-SEI Mahjong Club was off on Thursday 2/4/2021: most club members over 65 now have their first dose of the COVID mRNA vaccine. In midweek play on Saturday, congratulations to Amy who won this big 768 point Full Flush with Chow bonus: hard to see the 4 chows but they are there! Everyone should be current to HKS Mahjong 3D version 6.0.2 which fixes the Self Pick Kong hang problem. We did not want to risk hanging on 2 occasions on the Saturday game but we successfully proved the fix on 4 occasions on the Monday midweek game.

On 1/28/2021 Nobuko was the big winner at Table 2 with 544 total points with a 288 Pong with Self Pick and 256 Half Flush. Also at Table 2, one Robot won a 192 point Half Flush and another Robot won a 128 point Half Flush and Roger won a 96 point Half Flush. At Table 1, Amy won this 384 point Pong with Self Pick which hung. But Hiroshi caught up with 416 total points with two 96 point Pongs and a 128 point and final 96 point Half Flush. Also at Table 1, John was able to join ...us at 1 pm and won 240 total points with a 96 point Half Flush and a 144 point Pong, both with Self Pick which hung. Erna was blanked and moved from Table 2 to Table 1 because she could not see Nobuko's Rooms. John was unable to call into Table 2. So Amy moved from Table 1 to Table 2 and back to Table 1 because she could not see Nobuko's Rooms. Nancy was unable to play because her cellphone was frozen and needed repair. See more

On 1/21/2021, Amy had another great day with 6784 total points including this 6144 point Level 16 Dragon Snake (with Self Pick which hung on physically the last tile!), 256 point Knitted Fabric and 384 point Full Flush. Also at Table 1, Hiroshi had 768 total points with a 576 point Half Flush (with Self Pick which did not hang and "with replacement"), a 96 point Half Flush, and a 96 point Pong. And Nancy won a 96 point Half Flush and there were 2 TIEs. At Table 2, Nobuko won 1316 total points with a 384 point All Terminals, 128 point Pong, and 288 and 516 point Half Flush with Self Pick. Roger won a 256 Half Flush and Erna was blanked.

On 1/14/2021 Amy swooped in again at the end with a 126 point Half Flush and then Boom! this 4096 point Level 16 Beijing Garden! Also at Table 1, the Robot won a 1152 point Full Flush, Hiroshi won 640 total points with 7 Pairs, Big Pong Pong and Half Flush, Nancy won 576 total points with Full Flush, Pong, and a 96 point Chow, and there was one TIE. At Table 2 Nobuko won a 768 point Big Pong Pong, Roger won 608 total points with 3 Half Flushes, and Erna won a 192 point Pong. Updated HKS version 6.0.1 is rolling out and we have been experiencing smoother games with a number of table winds going South - but iPads still hang on Self Pick Mahjong.

Also at Table 1, Hiroshi won a 256 point 7 Pairs with self pick that did not hang, John with his 128 point Pong and Amy with a 96 point Chow with self pick which hung, and there were two Tie hands. At Table 2, Nobuko won 416 points with a 288 point Pong and a 128 point Half Flush. The Robot tied with a 128 point and 288 point Half Flush, Roger won 384 points with a 256 point 7 Pairs and a 128 Half Flush and Erna won 256 points with a 128 point Half Flush and 128 point Pong.
