Why is Hands On Experience Important in an ACLS / PALS course? Most medical and nursing school students lack experience. Although they have a range of useful resources at their disposal, their knowledge of advanced cardiac life support is only theory. They must familiarize themselves with all the possible scenarios they might come across in the final exam or as part of their job in the medical profession. What they need is to gain some hands-on experience by learning from ...the best in the field -- those who have dedicated their whole lives to teaching others how to administer advanced life-saving techniques. Online courses may sound like a practical alternative to the conventional classroom environment. However, the learning experience that course participants acquire comes up short -- in contrast to practical classes where textbook knowledge can be put to use.ypes of algorithms covered by a traditional ACLS course are the following: Cardiac Arrest Post-Cardiac Arrest Acute Coronary Syndromes Pulseless Electrical Activity (PEA)/Asystole Ventricular Fibrillation (VF)/Pulseless Ventricular Tachycardia (V) Bradycardia Tachycardia Respiratory Arrest Suspected Stroke Opioid Emergency We offer in-depth training that gives you the much-needed hands-on experience. What’s more, we are an American Heart Association (AHA) approved Training Center. Although we believe in the traditional classroom environment, we make sure you are under no stress while in class because we want you to maximize your performance and make the most of the learning process. Whether you are interested in ACLS, PALS or NRP -- ACLSEDU.com instructors are here for you, where learning is a rewarding, fun, flexible stress-free process that gives you a nice confidence boost, along with your required AHA certification. Our superb instructors make it worth your while -- and time flies. See you in class!
What is ACLS certification for nurses? Nurses have to meet certain requirements, among which are ongoing training and continuing education (CE) requirements. They need a certain number of CEUs in order to keep their jobs or pursue a career in a different medical field. ACLS certification for nurses is the same as the one required for doctors. Nurses working in critical and emergency care are required to be ACLS-certified, as are nurses working in nursing homes, where cardiac arrest and similar cardiovascular emergencies are likely to take place.
