From our friends at Hadar, remember Yom HaShoah and learn with Rabbi Yitz Greenberg on Thursday, April 8. "In the decades since the Holocaust, Jewish and non-Jewish thinkers alike were forced to re-evaluate core religion and moral questions, like the problem of evil, restoring the ideal of the image of God, the religious-secular divide, and the responsibilities of bystanders. Join Hadar to discuss the most important and influential conclusions that thinkers have drawn in the shadow of the Holocaust." Register here: https://www.hadar.org/religion-morality

The Jews of Color Initiative #CountMeIn study garnered more than 1,000 survey respondents, and now the research team is combing through the responses. Later this summer, the JoCI will work in partnership with other JoC leaders nationwide to share the findings and to advocate for changes in the #JewishCommunity. Beyond the unprecedented nature of the study, which has created the largest dataset of #JewsofColor in the U.S., the multiracial research team is a model for successful collaboration across diverse areas of specialization and research methods.

Our #HighHoliday preparations and rituals invited us to care for the wellbeing of strangers, our loved ones, our broader community and world, and ourselves. These duties of the heart (Hovot HaLev) are #JewishWisdom imparted from Bahya Ibn Pakuda, an eleventh century Spanish Jewish philosopher and rabbi. Rachel Shamash Schneider of the Foundation and Sara Allen of the Jewish Teen Education & Engagement Funder Collaborative discuss how duties of the heart, #JewishWellness, are elevated by orgs like At The Well, Hillel International, Moving Traditions, Foundation for Jewish Camp, Institute for Jewish Spirituality, and others--and the opportunities for all of us to do even more.

Along with our friends at the Schusterman Family Foundation, we're sharing the survey questions from our own research on #JewishYoungAdult engagement in #virtualprogramming so you can consider including them in your next post-program survey or program evaluation.
