Hey guys! I had a great 4th! I hope y'all did as well. Parties are a lot of work, the days leading up to it, the party itself and then the clean up can be exhausting, but it is so worth it!! It was such a good time! Work and rehearsal on the 5th, then work and Bergie's last night, so I'm super tired but I have show tonight at The Arcadia Blues Club and I'm very excited about it, so hopefully adrenaline will pull me through.... Taking a couple days to go fishing in the Sierras Sunday. I can't wait! Things are very good with me right now, I am super blessed, but I do need a little vacation. See more

Facebook is a very contentious place. Good honest heart felt opinions are often met with hostility. I am going to do my best to keep this page only between good friends and family with whom I know will only speak to one another in love and with kindness and grace. I plan to use this page to post thoughts and opinions that I would not be able to do on a more public page.

Politics are not the answer. Political parties are indebted to their financial supporters and not to the general public they are entrusted to serve. The same goes for the media, they are a business driven by sponsors and ratings, not objectivity or even truthfulness. What can we do? We can not wait nor rely on the government to help those around us. Sure, vote your conscience, support those who support the things that are important to you, but voting is not the end of our responsibility; it is the beginning. Love one another. Help one another. Be the change you want to see in the world. Ensure that you make the lives of those around you better. Be kind. care! Making a difference wherever you go, is far more effective than voting or getting caught up in politics that only divide us.
