Today we want to introduce you to our February Faculty Feature! This is Dr. John Gallegos! He has served at Jessup for 10 years teaching Acts, Romans, and New Testament both on-campus and online. He is also the Director of Casa Latina and is involved with Latinos Unidos on campus! He pastors a bilingual church in Woodland, CA, and is very involved in leadership ministry. Not only is he serving in a multitude of ways around campus, he also is involved in the Faculty of Theolog...y Annual Spring Lecture that is coming up on Thursday, February 11th! We are excited to announce to you our January Student Spotlight, Emily Loutzenhiser!! Emily is a Youth Ministry Major with a Music Minor who loves the community and friendliness of Jessup, giving her a place where she feels truly known. You can find Emily singing for Jessup in the University Choir and Orchestra or up on the stage leading worship for her home church. She has been leading worship since she was 15 and is involved in several ways through her Church ministry pou...ring into youth students and preaching on the platform. Emily is an exceptional leader on and off the stage and if you don’t know her yet, you SHOULD! We are so excited to celebrate her so make sure to give her a shoutout in the comments or say hello when you see her on campus!

We are so excited to announce this month’s faculty feature!! This is Matthew Bach! Matt teaches Old Testament here on campus and occasionally teaches Youth Culture, Trends and issues and has been a professor here for 5 years! His favorite spot on campus is the library, especially the freezer study room :) His favorite thing about working at Jessup is watching students appreciate and value the Hebrew Bible and the scriptures in a new and fresh way all while being a part of t...heir constant learning. Matt also is a pastor for Christian Development at Bridgeway Christian Church, leads Israel study tours annually, and is working on his Ph.D.!
