Nearly 2 weeks late, but so cute I have to share. It’s tradition.

Last week we finished our dragon puppets and my son Liam made us the dragon bread. The kids thought it was fun to eat the tail or wings and asked for scales on every bite.

Last month Little Flower Preschool hosted Trish McPhee for an all day health workshop. Thriving Through Illness I forgot to post these after the workshop, so finally here they are.

Happy Valentine’s Day. The kids have been working hard on these gifts for their families and we finally planted our daffodils.

Happy Halloween

The kids made these last week but I forgot to post. Happy late Michaelmas.

A dear parent from preschool brought a craft project to school recently. We took rose petals and put them through a meat grinder to make a pulp. Then twice a day for 11 days the pulp gets put through the grinder again. At the end, the pulp is ready to press into beads. This is how a rosary is made. The beads will smell of roses, but the color will be dark, almost black. This is so amazing. I’ll post again later with the beads.

We died eggs last week with herbs and yellow onion skins.

We got an unexpected 4 of powder last night. We haven’t had a snow like this in years. Usually we get rain that turns to snow, but last night it was dry when it started to snow.

Happy Valentines Day

The children finally finished their dream catchers last week after a month of working on them.

Happy Halloween. This is one of my all time favorite crafts.

The children picked the petals from marigolds and made dye for their capes last week.

Little Flower Preschool children made sail boats at summer camp. Too bad we don't have a stream on the property.

Happy Valentines Day from Little Flower Preschool. The kids have been having lots of tea parties lately with cookies. We decided to make a cookie and tea bag for all of the children this year. They got to choose one of each during their exchange today. They are 100% wool.

18 star babies went home this week. The children also hand dipped candles, planted paper whites and made delicious "holiday walnuts" from Nourishing Traditions. The walnuts they have been collecting, cracking and saving since early fall. It was a lot of work for them!

We had a a different kind of kid visit Little Flower Preschool yesterday. Thanks Lauren Dowd. The preschool children LOVED it!

The children sewed dragonflies and petals and strung them up for a seasonal mobile. They took them home with their Easter Grass this week.

Although it only rained yesterday, the kids managed to still get muddy. This is why we wear rain gear even though it's not a rainy day.

The children worked for months on these. They are finally home being used as either bird houses or treasures homes for the kids.

There is nothing better than children giggling.

This was a fun experience for the children. Some had never heard a didgeridoo before.

An uncle came in and showed the children all about the didgeridoo.
