This adorable birthday party was quite literally, perfection. (and also fancier than my wedding ) @anniepapi threw out all the stops.. and as the craft master, I enjoyed the challenge of inspiring creativity based the party’s boho vibe. We started with a painting, then bc of the girls’ ages and time of year, quickly moved to the wreath ornament I hope that these ornaments will bring back happy memories of a beautiful, lovely day at the end of the strangest year happy birthday Gemma

I enjoyed seeing these little Christmas villages come together tonight what a lovely bunch. As I was doing a little intro I found myself thanking these wonderful people for attending our workshops (and shopping @thefoundrycooperative) bc I know how rare it is to be a creative person and actually have a job that allows you to exercise those muscles and make a little money too! That’s why I love classes so much .. many folks just don’t get the chance to even find out how ...creative they really are! I love seeing them get outside of their comfort zone, start time settle in and sometimes even find gifts they never knew they had.. It was truly an honor to paint this abstract beach commission for a beautiful soul and her family This one took a little perseverance to get right.. and now is one of my all time favs... She was in the midst of a remodel so I got to enjoy the finished piece for quite a while before delivery and I loved seeing the colors change as the sun would rise and set each day with light reflecting off the gold leaf and texture. I included one of her inspiration images as well as one of the first layers that just wasn’t quite right.. and a little shot of the cutest delivery boy . . So my freshly minted 18 year old got a tattoo today... she has a huge heart for those struggling with depression and feelings of hopelessness. Every Sunday for years she has placed a sharpie semi-colon on her left wrist as a reminder to pray and think of those who have lost their lives to suicide or struggle with suicidal thoughts.. so we decided to make it a permanent thing.. grateful for that girl with a heart of compassion
