IRS announced today the next round of stimulus checks are going out this week and another round of deposits by Friday. They expect to send them out weekly so keep an eye on the tool on the IRS website Get My Payment

EDD UPDATE The updated forms to make the adjustments to unemployment received are supposed to be released tomorrow. Please be patient with all of this as we are all doing our best to take care of everything in a timely manner as the updates come thru.

Good morning! So here’s some of the FAQ on the updates to the child tax credit. Looks like we won’t have to amend returns to get this credit. Read more at the IRS website under 2021 child tax credit.

For those of you filing for EDD or PUA that are self employed... They ask for your NET income which is on your schedule c line 31. If you you have mileage you claimed you also need to add in the amount from line 9 to account for your mileage. This is the amount you enter. Don’t forget to go back in to your EDD account and certify for weeks you filed for!

Please please be patient, your stimulus will come. The irs is diligently working to get everything up and running and we must understand that there are millions of people they are trying to service. It takes time! I also ask for patience. I’m working as fast as I can to complete returns I’ve received along with starting distance learning with my kids and keeping up with my own family. ... Together we will get thru this!
