These are some great samples of midcentury print design. Some look as if they were done in 2000. Print Magazine #graphicdesign #printisnotdead
A friend/client of mine knows how much I love packaging with a sense of humor and he sent me this. #packaging #retailpackaging #packagingdesign #branding

We designed this video based on an article from Retail TouchPoints. It looks like retailers will be catering to their shoppers or lose business.

This is a great brand update for Morton Salt. They have continued the tradition of the Morton Salt girl. "Throughout the years the girl has changed dresses and hairstyles to stay fashionable. She was updated in 1921, 1933, 1941, 1956, and 1968.... #In 2014, the Morton Salt Girl was refreshed one more time in celebration of her 100th year as the face of the brand." #branding #retailpackaging #packagingdesign #rebrand

This article hits home for me. I've "predicted" that QR codes will make a come back. Using a QR code on this Chili Crunch packaging provides an in-depth look at a brand's heritage. Covid dictates touchless ways of communicating. QR codes provide this opportunity.... Merging the tangible with the digital is what excited me when QR codes were first introduced. Perhaps they have found their place in the packaging world. @dieline #packagingdesign #retailpackaging #cpgpackaging #QRcodes
This @insa packaging is beautiful and stands apart from most other brands. This consistency is seen across all of the different product types. I still think that this industry has to start positioning themselves through their packaging with copy. What makes you better and different from the competitors. Thoughts from this group? http://gdusa.com/packaging/from-canvas-to-cannabis
We share a lot about packaging so I thought this would be interesting to get the perspective of our audience on this. Clear communication is the most important feature of your package and brand. This @Heineken case package says there are 3 extra cans of 0.0% alcohol beers included. But wait, is the whole package 0.0% alcohol or just these three cans. My son doesn't drink alcohol and he bought this thinking the whole package was 0.0% alcohol. I would have thought the same thi...ng how about you? #branding #retailpackaging #packagingdesign #brandpackaging
We explore everything retail and we have been watching the cannabis and CBD market grow. This infographic is based on an article from @storebrands We will continue to watch this space.... #cannabismarket #retailcannabis #cbdproducts #cbdhealth
This is amazing branding and packaging for Stories & Ink a tattoo care product. #marketing #branding #DTC #packagingdesign #packagingdesigner
I have been looking at the CBD and THC industry for the last few months from a traditional retail marketing view. There is a lot of innovation in this market but I can also see there is a need for traditional branding and product positioning. For example, look at the pictures I took at our local grocery store of some CBD products. ... They are behind glass, so a customer can't pick up the package and read it. The Select CBD package is simple and the large block of color pulls you in but there is so little information, I wonder if a consumer will even ask to have the cabinet unlocked to take a closer look? #branding #retailpackaging #CBDproducts #productpositionin
I thought I was the only evangelist for QR codes but Instagram agrees. #marketing #retail #qrcodes
I have been a student of packaging design for most of my career. E-commerce has changed packaging design for sure but it is still part of the brand experience. Check out this packaging for a wallet my husband recently purchased.... It is craft cardboard but it has interesting design details like the machine stitching and the inside reveal of a pattern. It has embossing and a linen texture to enhance the tactile experience. Customers want packaging that reflects the quality of the product they are purchasing. #packagingdesign #retailpackaging #branding #marketing #ecommerce #retail #brandpackaging @carrybellroy
I was always baffled by this sign in our old condo's garage. It looks like the image of the person is doing the scissor kicks and wearing a bathing suit OR lounging on an invisible couch. This is when a professional graphic designer comes in handy.
