This is from Page the Great DJ who used to live on the 20th check her email plz ( By now I am sure you’ve heard that I am opening a new dance club on Thursday nights in San Francisco at a absolutely beautiful club in the south of market. The club will be called... jukebox I have been looking for a venue for a while now and when I walked in the door of this building I got the goose bumps you hope to feel when you are in the perfect new home. The venue is a beautiful club called BEATBOX’ (how perfect) (box’s abound)on 11th and Folsom in San Francisco. I think I am hitting 32 years as a DJ in the Bay Area and although I don’t want to be in the clubs 7 days a week like I used to, I completely miss having a weekly party to keep connected with our community and I cant live without SOUL music. The club will be extraordinary. As with everything I do I am completely committed to create this party to celebrate DIVERSITY. This will be a place where EVERYONE comes together, gay men and women together, all ages, gay and straight together, a place for celebrating the amazing beautiful diversity and freedom we have all come to the Bay Area for. It is HOME. AND most of all its about SOUL MUSIC. If there is one thing I CAN promise is that the music will be SOULFUL. This is not going to be a club where you hear one kind of music all night long. I will play OLD SCHOOL SOUL, R&B, Hip Hop, SOULFUL HOUSE, FUNK, NEW SOULFUL DANCE its just gotta have SOUL. I’m will even be breaking out the old vinyl and play on turntables (yes I said turntables) some of the night. And we are going to have ridiculously hot dancers again up on go-go risers lit beautifully and pumping up the room with sexysoulfulsweat. The opening night of jukebox will be August 15th 2013. We will be open from 9 pm-2 am. The cover will be 10 dollars. Please help me SPREAD THE WORD!!!! I would like to send you some free passes to the clubs opening but I need your mailing address.
