Real Estate is still going strong, if not stronger. With low rates, strong buyer demand, and lower seller inventory, home prices have continued to increase ever so slightly. Now is a great time ( more for sellers) but that doesn't mean it's a bad time to buy. Buying with low rate is something that you brag about at a dinner party among all your friends with rates at 5%+ interest rates later on. May Real Estate Market Update! A lot has changed in the past 2 months, that's an obvious statement. During these times, the home buying/selling process has changed, from online signing, virtual open houses, having home showings with gloves and masks, to everything inbetween. Today is the 14th! I'm giving an update to what's been happening with forbearance agreements and servicers, what to look out for, and a concern for when this all ends.
Adapt and overcome. I’d be lying if I said my business wasn’t affected by the lock in. Before the statewide stay at home order was placed, I was out door knocking to help homeowners in difficult situations and hosting open houses every weekend. A lot of face to face - because if you know me, I like to be there in person with a smile and bring value to the table.... Now, most of my time is spent in front of my desk, on the phone and sending properties to my awesome buyers and answering emails. Until the lock in is uplifted, there are still ways I can help you, whether it’s buying or selling your home, or you talked with a family member or friend that’s looking to buy or sell - the home process has adjusted *temporarily* to phone calls and zoom/Skype meetings.
