One of our patients cracked one of his front crowns (caps) and wanted to have it replaced. Another dentist glued the broken piece back for him to use temporarily while he returned to us to have new ones made.
This 24 year old female had a close encounter with a sidewalk over the Memorial Weekend and obviously wanted to have it repaired ASAP. We applied a little bonding magic.
Patient presented with a broken front tooth an hour before we we were to go home. We did a little bonding magic so the patient could smile again. This was not the first time she had broken this tooth. It had been repair previously.

A 67 y/o male was carring a bag of groceries when he tipped and fell, breaking his two front teeth. When discussing his options, he stated he is retired and without dental insurance. His desire was to repair the teeth both functionally and aesthatically quickly and at a minimal cost. This case was treated with direct composite restorations (bondings) by David Jalen at the Jalen Rouleau Dental office. Treatment time was about an hour. The patient did not require any anesthetic.
This patient was unhappy with the slight gap between her central incisors as well as the "black triangle", the gap where gum is missing. One option for the treatment of this is orthodontics and the second option which is less costly and a much faster technique is bonding which was done in this case by Dr. Jalen.
This is a new style of toothbrush. Most brushes are made with a rounded end nylon bristle. This brush has microfibers, tiny filaments that can go very easily between the tooth and gum-the area where the bacteria that cause gum disease live.
Young adult male with a cavity in a molar. The decay was found during a routine dental check-up with x-rays.
A 52 year old female patient desired a cosmetic make over of her upper front teeth. She had porcelain fused over metal crowns (PFM) placed years prior and felt the old crowns did not compliment her appearance. She wanted to lighten the shade (make them whiter) and eliminate the spaces between her teeth (the black triangles). We suggested that we also increase the height of the teeth to improve the appearance by achieving a more proportional height to width ratio.
