So excited to be part of @g_allery_com ‘s lineup of artists. I know I’m in excellent company. - Re-post: Welcome Kirstine Reiner Hansen at G-ALLERY...! Kirstine Reiner Hansen is an award-winning contemporary artist based in Berlin. Looking back at many years of international experience she has been featured in several publications and exhibited in solo shows especially in the US. Her painting style is described as disrupted realism. Kirstine Reiner Hansen elaborately plays with the familiar. At which point does the naturalistic descend into the sphere of the abstract? The realm of the describable into that of the uncertain? Figures dissolve and reappear within an intuitive coloristic space that leaves us with phantasies.Gestures shown close up and frozen at the peak of their expression. Humorously, Reiner Hansen employs motivic references that recollect our visual memories and are rooted in commercial as well as in art historical spheres. She provides us with a vibrant assembly of fragmented figures, scattered into the image area and captured only in snapshots. Their character, as much as it seems to manifest in these specific gestures, remains inaccessible a beautiful homage to the human condition. Kirstine Reiner Hansen’s paintings are concerned with the unique expression of the body, iconized in traditional as well as in digital media. Her works visualize the contemporary, dynamic era we are living in, as the individual is split and dissolves in an ever-changing environment. With artistic refinery and subtle tones, she explores the creational power of colour and association, building a harmonious weave - with a hint of glamour. See more
