It was revealed in a report that the personal data of over 98 million users who have downloaded the popular Muslim Pro App may be compromised. According to the report, the app appears to be connected to a wide-ranging supply chain that sends users’ personal data to the U.S. military and other entities. The CAIR calling for a congressional inquiry of warrantless government surveillance of American Muslims, and urges Muslims to stop using this and other targeted applications until the applications’ owners offer full transparency and pledge to end government use of user data.
