Our auto sprinkler system recently installed at the IEC Jumping Arena is a fabulous enhancement to our facilities . They keep our footing at a consistent moisture content.

We’ll be taking a virtual visit to San Diego Country Estates Equestrian Center to watch a compost pile build and discuss how to address manure composting for a large amount of livestock, over 30+ horses. As someone with over 30 years of both horse and horticulture experience, and an avid composter since age 8, I’ve learned just how important it is to protect the local watershed with proper disposal of manure. Not only is this good for your horses’ health but this composted manure works wonders when applied to your garden and landscaping, mitigates erosion, sequesters carbon, and helps conserves water! Continuing to follow the advice from health experts and government officials, and acting in the best interests of the health and wellness of our greater community, we are suspending the use of the SDCEA Equestrian facilities for all non-SDCEA homeowners horse trailer-ins. This will remain until further notice. We will provide updates as they become available.

Due to the Covid 19 outbreak, we have had to cancel all shows through April. Keep checking back as we reschedule those events. Be well everybody!
