Is this real life?! I am soooo happy and overwhelmed to announce we finally have the clearance to open. I’m not going to lie about how tough this has been on my small business. There were times I debated staying open, changing my career or coming up with another side hustle! I taught swim lessons, developed a virtual Airbrush 101 class for Institute of Intanity, took about 8 hours to figure out how to do digital gift cards and really thought of ways to stay in front of m...y audience through contests and throwbacks. I want to say thank you to the Redlands community for your support. It’s amazing how many of the small businesses have come together to show love and camaraderie. I also realized I have developed true friendships in many of my clients that continued to show me support in other ways. WE ARE OPEN! WE ARE EXCITED! How many times have you cried during this pandemic? If you are asking me...too many times to count. ... I have cried about missing family, watching what people are going through, the downfall of so many businesses, the kids who were robbed of their senior year, the college kids trying to make it work academically, the parents trying to juggle it all! This time I am crying GRATEFUL tears. How lucky am I to be a part of this amazing group of businesses? I love the support we can give each other during this crazy time. I love being able to call or text anyone of these business or women and discuss ideas and spread love I literally cannot wait to walk Downtown Redlands and support and hug all you ladies.
