InSync Academy

Working on a short Ted like talk on why entering freshmen need orientation from InSync Academy prior to starting College.

Compassion, Empathy, Caring are all actions and words I use daily, especially when working with college women in the Sorority environment. I believe sisterhood provides this in "heaps" and that is why I work so hard to get people to communicate, connect, to be present and engaged, especially in conversation I recently read an article about millennials wanted to be appreciated and valued in their jobs. Well, who doesn't? Understanding others and walking in their shoes show...s that you can empathize and listen as well as understand what they are doing and thinking. Yet that takes time, listening with both ears and putting down that darn cell phone and be present with them. Breathe, slow down for a moment, and really listen to your friend or colleague.
