After taking a week off from our Inside Out series, we are excited to jump back in The Garage tomorrow morning to dive into chapter 10 Make Incarnation Your Model for Loving Well. There are not enough words to express our gratitude towards our pastors at Inspire Church. For pastors appreciation month a few members put together something special to honor our lead shepherd, Pastor Phil! Each day lives are changed, hearts are turned, and the gospel spreads because of your call to follow Christ. We appreciate you Pastor Phil!

This past Sunday, we got a chance to introduce the new elders of the church & celebrate our lead pastor! We are thankful for this leadership and honor each and every one of them. But this day wouldn’t have been complete without commemorating the 8 individuals who chose to give their life to Christ. Each testimony and story was a testament of God’s transforming grace and love. We are here for each of you as you continue into this new journey! Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! - 2 Corinthians 5:17

On this week’s #PeopleOfInspire we want to honor the one and only Patty Muela! She has been a prayer warrior since the very beginning of Inspire Church and has never stopped even through this pandemic! She is a friend, comforter, mother, leader and so much more. Today, we honor her love and passion for others and Jesus. My name is Patty Muela the mother of Pastor Philip Muela. My faith in God has grown through this season. I love Isaiah 43: Fear not for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name; You are mine. Through this season my ministry and prayer team have been so full. We fast and pray for the needs of others. Our pastors and leaders stay very connected to the Inspire family and needs of the community. We are unstoppable for Jesus!

In just a few hours, we will be gathering again in-person for our drive-in FAMILY REUNION! Here are a few reminders! Can’t wait to see you at 5 PM, Inspire family!

We’ve been longing for this day! Our drive-in Family Reunion will start at 5 PM tomorrow at Creek Side Community Church in San Leandro! Even though we will not be having any online services tomorrow, there are so many reasons to come out and celebrate - baptisms, our new elders, and being together once again! Carpool if possible, come early, find your spot, and get ready to worship with us!

Being a member of Inspire is so much more than simply joining a church. It is community, family, discipleship, and being part of something much bigger than ourselves! Loss is often seen in relation to the physical - the loss of a life or a loved one, but the reality is we experience loss in all areas of our life. Some of us have lost a dream, a physical ability, a past life, the list goes on. What’s important is the ability to grieve through these losses which will lead to compassion for others and spiritual growth.

The anticipation has been building & the day is finally around the corner! We will be having our Family Reunion as a drive in event this Sunday at 5 PM at Creek Side Community Church! Not only will we be gathering together again in person, but we will be hosting our annual baptisms! What a beautiful time it will be! Let’s get excited for what’s in store this weekend!

She joined Inspire Church a year ago and has been serving on our Marketing team nonstop. What drew her to Inspire is the sense of community and family. We appreciate all that you do behind the scenes, Dani! - I love being apart of the marketing team and using my creativity in a way that serves the church beyond myself. God is moving in this season of my life by bringing me deeper into community, during a time when it’s so easy to feel disconnected and isolated.
