I am so happy to announce to you, the Patches are here. I ordered 500 patches so we have plenty. I have already paid them for them up front. I have received m...any orders for the Patches and some checks. I need to ask you a favor to help me in my bookkeeping. Please email me how many patches you ordered and your shipping address. This will help me not forget someone. The Patches are $6.00 plus a one time shipping and handling of $2.00. I know I have not been clear on the cost of shipping. For example if you order more then one patch which many of you have, the shipping will still be just $2.00 per order. Any profit we make on the Patches will go directly into the 2019 Reunion. From a fellow Santa regarding the shooting in Las Vegas ... I was an eyewitness to a mass murder. (The Goleta Postal Shooting) I know what the people who were there are experiencing and what they will go thru. It's impacted my life in a big way. So a few things ... If you or anyone you know was there ... I'm here. PM, text, contact someone who knows me, whatever. I know what you/they are going thru and it helps to know others can identify with those feelings. Or find a grief ...counselor, preferably one with experience to this type of thing. If you know someone who was there and you want to help them. LISTEN!!! Let them vent. If you have never been thru something like this you DON'T know what they are going thru. I was told by someone 2 weeks after the shooting I was involved in "You're not over that yet?" BZZZNT!!!! WRONG ANSWER!!! IF you've been thru something like this, you'll be able to relate to them. If you haven't don't give advice other than to talk it out. When people say "I can't even imagine what that would be like" ... they are right. You CAN'T imagine what it's like. The sights, sounds, smells, emotions, music, etc will haunt them forever. A few days after my shooting I was talking to a brother about a yellow spot on my lawn when a car drove by and backfired maybe 20 feet away from me. Didn't phase me at all. But a few minutes later going to lunch here come a bunch of emergency vehicles up Sycamore horns blaring, sirens wailing and THAT freaked me out. You don't know what their triggers will be. Don't even come close to saying "I know how you feel." Unless you've been thru something like this, NO, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW THEY FEEL!!! There is a reason why a lot of first responders and military people never talk about what they see or have seen except among themselves. Because most people can't relate to them and the situation they were involved in. I can talk about the shooting I was in all night long. Some can't. But if you've never been involved in something like that ... again ... you can't imagine. So lend a sympathetic ear. Encourage them to talk it out. But refrain from saying stupid things. They are now facing a new normal. It will never be the same. They WILL be changed by this event. Don't abandon them because they aren't who they used to be. As I said, if you've never been thru something like this, you have no idea what they went thru. See more

On March 15th at 7:00 P.M. I will be speaking at Bible Baptist Church of National City. If you live in the San Diego area you are invited to attend. During the meeting, I will be discussing In Pursuit Ministries of Ca and my recent illness I suffered from September - December. Pastor Larry Obero and his wonderful congregation have been supporting us for many years, for which we are so thankful. While we are there, we will planning a Law Enforcement Day to be scheduled sometime in October.
