Though we won't be walking together this year, we will be meeting, learning and engaging, and even connecting directly to Israel/Palestine as we welcome Peacemakers on the ground in the Middle East to our gathering. Register now at MideastPeacemaking2020.eventbrite.com for the Zoom link.
As we were unable to hold our annual baccalaureate service this year due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we still wanted to show our appreciation for the accompli...shment of the students graduating from Claremont High and San Antonio High schools this year. Please take a moment to view the video tribute that we have prepared to honor their momentous achievement. https://youtu.be/Qvwf12-e374

Dear Friends in the Pomona Valley Communities: We have received many outreaches of support in light of the attacks in Poway yesterday, which are deeply appreciated. Many ask how they can show their determination to fight hate in light of what just happened, and in addition, the recent violence against Christians in Sri Lanka, Muslims in New Zealand and sadly on and on My best immediate suggestion is to join two interfaith events taking place THIS AFTERNOON. There is an In...terfaith Pot Luck Picnic at Griffith Park in Claremont from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., followed by the commemoration of Yom HaShoah at TBI beginning at 4 p.m. Many of you are already participating in or planning to attend these events, and it’s good to remember that such events are quite common in our community and serve as a model of respect across boundaries of all things that so often divide others. If you are available, and had not planned to attend either of these gatherings, please reconsider as a way to emphasize the values we all hold in the forefront. In peace, Cantor Paul
