Chai Tea was consumed to naturally heal the body beginning in the Vedic Period in India. Black Tea has antioxidants to lower blood pressure & cholesterol, promote heart health & prevent some cancers. All the herbs aid the digestion. Chai Tea (Serves 4) 4 Black Peppercorns 1 Stick Of Cinnamon... 6 Green Or Black Cardamom Pods 6 Cloves 1 Inch Ginger Root, Sliced And Peeled 1 Tablespoon Loose Black Tea Or 2 Black Tea Bags 3 Cups Water 1 Cup Whole Milk or any Nut Milk +/- 1-2 TBS Coconut Sugar, Molasses, Stevia or Other Sweetener Put spices in pan with water, bring to rolling boil. Cover, let simmer 5 min. Remove pan from heat, let steep 10 minutes. Return to a boil. Remove from heat and add black tea, Let Steep 3 To 5 Minutes. Strain and return to pan. Add milk and sugar, stir and serve.
