The first Tuesday of November is Election Day in the United States. Our office will be closed so that employees can prioritize this civic duty. This year’s election will change the trajectory of U.S. immigration and nationality lawif you haven’t already, vote! If not for yourself, do it for the millions of immigrants in the United States who don’t have a voice at the ballot box
Happy Wednesday! I received a sweet surprise from a client today . . . .... . Immigration law is a marathon. Processing times are long, which means relationships with your clients are long. I really cherish the friendships that have been grown through my work and am really honored to be a part of every client’s journey to a new job, spouse, or home in the United States. . . . #chocolate #laburdick #gratitude #immigration See more

Instruments of torture. I resumed personal training sessions via Zoom. The human body is remarkable, and the human mind so creative. My trainer sent me some simple items that we use in all sorts of ways to build strength without getting bored. I work out in my office! It’s been so great to release all the stress and anxiety of COVID, society, politics, motherhoodsometimes you just need to physically beat it out of you DM me if you want my trainer’s info, she is a humble, inspiring and utterly fun human being

Damas y caballeros, I present to you gifts from Argentina . . . .... . Am truly blessed to have this job, meeting wonderful human beings from all over the world and learning about their cultures, families, experiencesit’s truly an honor and privilege. This client went home for a routine visa renewal and then came COVID-19 which basically stranded him and his wife in their home country for about 2 months. Despite the circumstances, they were so kind and thoughtful to send me some amazing souvenirs from their trip home! #immigration #lawyers #alfajores #gratitude #argentina See more

Truly honored and humbled to be awarded the 2020 Sports Immigration Lawyer of the year. . . . .... . . . This award means a lot to me because I was chosen by my peersthe nation’s best and most passionate sports immigration attorneys. Last year’s recipient is none other than @visasparapeloteros, queen of MLB immigration and justice seeker and selfless pro bono advocate for unaccompanied minors and those cruelly detained. The strength and courage of my peers inspires me to work smarter, harder, and never give up. . . . This has been the toughest year of law practice for me, my team and my clients. Blood, sweat, tears and countless hours have gone into obtaining visas for some of the most extraordinary people I have had the privilege to work with. Your contributions to society fuel me to keep going! Thank you for entrusting me with your immigration to the United States. See more
