Custom desk for the owner's new office at Colorado West Construction. Love the way it turned out. The base, including drawers are all custom metal fabricated, hand rusted, with rivetts and custom drawer pulls. The top is custom made from hard wood. The center strip was going to be leather inset, but we ended up going with a beautiful fractile burn filled with copper and blue epoxy. This desk is badass. Just made some matching upper storage shelves to go with the lower classroom shelves I made for my daughter's homeschool room a couple years ago. She's getting bigger now and her mom finds more and more trinkets and treasures for their learning adventures so. . . Gotta have a place to put it. I made these shelves out of a cedar plank and an old gear, both I had laying around. Custom crackle finish, too. . .
