We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe. We are so thankful to have the support we have received through this challenging year we call 2020. Your kind words and thoughts from all our supporters of Huntington Lake Resort and Marina has made as been very appreciative for being part of the mountain community. The abundance of love and support we have received from our guest to cabin owners and employees (2020 season and prior) we are absolutely left humbled and so thankful that we were able to get through this year together from Covid to Creek Fire. We hope 2021 brings us more hopeful year for everyone.

PLEASE SHARE, CREEK FIRE RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY OWNER CLEAN UP OPTIONS Property owners that have damaged or destroyed properties within the Creek fire area, are... eligible for debris removal assistance. To assist in recovery activities and ensure the safe removal of hazardous waste and fire debris, the State and Federal government are assisting Fresno County to coordinate and remove hazardous waste and fire debris from structures and properties damaged by the wildfire. Homeowners can clean up their own properties using licensed contractors at their own expense. Otherwise Federal and State assistance at no out-of-pocket expense will become available. Government Sponsored Clean Up will be done in two phases: Phase 1: Household Hazardous Waste Removal Start Date: First week of November Agency: US Environmental Protection Agency Cost: Provided at no cost to residents. All residents whose homes were destroyed from the fires are automatically enrolled into the Phase I removal program. Property owners using a private contractor can opt-out. Includes rapid removal of household hazardous waste, including propane tanks, compressed gas cylinders, and solvents. Assessment of properties for asbestos and remove easily identifiable asbestos material. Phase 2: Debris Removal Start Date: Following Completion of Phase 1 Estimated to begin mid-December, 2020 Agency: Cal OES & California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery Cost: There is no direct cost to property owners, however, in exchange for the government performing this service, property owners must to sign a Right of Entry form in which they agree that any insurance proceeds in a property owner’s homeowners insurance policy designated for debris removal will be turned over to the government.
